In addition to his plays, James has had magazine articles published, and hosted a writing workshop. He has also written the original screenplay for an online animation about the city’s historic Assembly House, on behalf of the Norwich 12 tourism & heritage initiative.
Written to commemorate William Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary, James’ debut radio play Pedigree was published earlier this year, prior to its performance at the Maddermarket Theatre in April.
Currently James is in the process of writing a Dickensian drama for Norfolk Museums Service and Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse. It is hoped that the production – entitled Ghosts Of Gressenhall – will be available for visitors to experience at the national heritage centre before the end of 2017.
